How to contribute

First, thank you very much for helping Pumpo-number-five being great. You are awesome!

Intro​

If you would like to contribute, please follow steps below.

1) Contact maintainers over email - it's alvaro.silva@pumpitup.cz or vaclav.broz@pumpitup.cz and tell us what would you like to improve. We will reply quickly, most likely even during same day. 2) If everything goes smooth, you will receive an invitation link to access organization dev.azure.com/pumpitup to your email shortly. 3) You need to join our organisation using your Microsoft account - but don't worry if you don't have one, you can create it easily, it won't take more than 3 minutes and it's free! Just follow instructions from email and Microsoft.

Now you should be able to access Pump IT Up organisation and improve pumpo-number-five!

Contribution guide​

1) Create branch 2) Made some changes or improvements :) 3) Commit and push you changes and open Pull Request 4) (Optional) Invite Alvaro or Vaclav as reviewers. 5) After PR checks are done and branch is merged successfully - new SNAPSHOT version is created, so you can profit from tweaks you made now! :) (it usually takes 10 - 15 minutes until a new version is available in Maven central) 6) From time to time new RELEASE is created, so you can move to more stable version.

As a general rule we are trying to follow Google Java Style Guide with following exceptions:

Organisation Access​

  • In case of you did not receive any invitation link into your mailbox, please check SPAM folder and if you still cannot access the organisation - do not hesitate to write email to us.

  • If you see "Access denied", please verify whether right organisation is chosen on aex.dev.azure.com/me. You should see PumpITup s.r.o. in the left panel.
